Great News!!!!
Granite Construction is officially a Cooperate Sponsor for $2,000!!!!! WOW! They will have a full page add in the program and we will also do a special thank you during the event in their honor!!!I am just so thrilled!

Other good news...The program has been sent to the printers and will available to pick up by Friday:)

I will pick up the wine donations from Soquel Vineyards and Hunter Hill Saturday.

I will also finish up the silent auction basket Saturday with Michelle (our wonderful volunteers) help.

I went to Hunter Hill today and spoke to Van. They are going to donate 1 case of wine for the High Rollers VIP Reception.

I want to change our invitations, but it is very pricey and not in the budget!!!
I have asked Community Printers to be a Program Sponsor totaling a $500 donation. This will help with the cost of the printing.
I have not heard official news back yet. But I am keeping my fingers crossed and you should to.

This week I am going to present the sponsorship brochure's and ask for donations from Cafe Cruz, Steve Bonnadelli 4 sharks tickets, Spa Fitness Bay Ave, Bargetto Winery, Well Within, and the Poland’s (Tahoe house for two weekends). More to come.......

Meeting with Gail and Seascape Golf Course Set

Meeting with Gail and the Golf Course March 3rd at 3:00. I am very excited about this meeting. We will discuss placement for the event as well as a more detailed layout for the evening.I will also ask about the amount of chips recommended to give within the ticket price.

Community Television of Santa Cruz

On March 18th I will tape a Public Service Announcement through Community Television of S.C. This will be a 2 minute announcement giving the general idea of BALANCE and IMAGINE as well as a save the date for the event.
The (PSA) will run through March and April.
It is provided to us FREE OF CHARGE!!!
I am very excited and can’t wait to see the final product.
I am open to any ideas for the script.

I have a phone meeting with Robert Strong on Tuesday. He was our comedy magician at last year's event. Everyone LOVED him! I am so thrilled he is willing to come again for our event. He will double as of course the comedy magician as well as the auctioneer.

Ideas

*I am now looking into working with Community Television of Santa Cruz for a 5 minute documentary about BALANCE and Imagine and our event. They will play this on the local programming. I am excited about this, it sounds like a lot of good coverage.
*I am also looking into KFOX and KSUP for announcements or even sponsorships.
*Last thing, I am in search for local familiar faces, people with great personalities to be our Celebrity dealers at our tables.

I know its February!!!!! January flew by!!!!
Updated information:
*Kent and I put a donations link on the BALANCE4kids website. We are working on a link to purchase tickets. This was tricky though due to the different ticket prices we are having, but I think we have managed to figure out what we are going to do.
*I have also started working on the Invitation and RSVP cards. I have a first draft of the front of the invitation. It looks great. I need to figure out what I type of paper I will print on.
*Things are moving along great.
*I have a meeting with Seascape Golf Course This week to talk about final decisions, colors and the layout of the room. I will update how that meeting goes.
