Official Date and Location is NOW SET!!!

New News,
I met with Kim at the Seascape Golf Club and had a wonderful experience.
The date of the event is set for May 3, 2008 from 6-10.
The location is now officially the Seascape Golf Club.
There will be a 1 hour cocktail hour on the green with Cold Hors D'Oeuvres including Veggies, cheese and fruit.
Once inside we will begin our Fun and games. We will be serving cold and hot Hors D'Oeuvres throughout the evening along with a Carvery to close.
Kim also donated a Round of golf for 4.
I want to give a Big Thank You to Kim for all her help and willingness to work with us!!!!

New Location

*The Mill is currently not Wheel Chair accessible, therefore we will be holding the event at the Sesnon House. Dates and times will be officially confirmed Aug. 9Th.
*The Sponsorship trifold is ready and will be printed as soon as dates and times are confirmed with the Sesnon House. I am very excited to share the trifold with everyone, I am very pleased with the look!!!

Croupier

Croupier: OK, it is set. For the event we will be using Vegas Magic (thanks Lolita!). I was very pleased with their set up. The have even donated a "Mini Casino Party" prize with a value of $700!!!

For our party we are planning on 1 Craps table, 1 Roulette table, 8 Blackjack tables and 3 Texas Hold 'em tournaments. (YEAH!!!!)

Location: 131 Front Street, The Mill Gallery. I am sorry I do not have pictures yet, I will get them ASAP! Drive by the view the location, don't forget to go in. It is a beautiful two story art gallery. Brinton Everett, the owner of Sunflower Fields of Wellbeing as well as the gallery is very sweet, if you stop by say Hi to her, she is very excited about the event!!!!

I am very pleased to say Vicky and I had a wonderful meeting yesterday and we have a fabulous location. I will post photos and more info very soon!!!

Ideas...

*I went to Coconut Grove to view one of the casino's and really liked the looks for our party. I wasn't too sure about the Coconut Grove, but it really looked amazing. It was the perfect setting for the vision. I am waiting for a quote from Gayle, with the casino rental company, to make a final decision on who to use for that aspect.
*Another great idea presented was to have celebrity dealers. People from the community or actually celeb's we'll take it all. If anyone has contacts, let me know :)

Second Chanch

I will be meeting with Alfanzo Friday June 8th to view their casino night. I will also be meeting with Gayle to view their casino options on June 12th. So, by the 15th I will have one of the two booked for our event:)

Saturday

I was to meet with the company from San Jose Saturday. I arrived at 5 pm, 30 minutes prior to the event, and they were not there!!! I really liked the company over the phone, they gave lots of insights and seemed to be on top of it. BUT, they were not set up 30 minutes before an event. I am not sure if I am willing to take that risk! I am going to call and check in tomorrow, maybe there was a misunderstanding? ANY ADVICE???

Meetin with Croupiers

Tomorrow I am meeting with the gaming professionals in Aptos. I will be able to check out the Texas Hold 'em tables as well as see how the gaming works. I will keep everyone posted as to how things went.
